How did you get into Pink Floyd? The 1st album I purchased was The Wall. Then I saw the movie. I was hooked after that.
What made you join DSOTM? I got a special invite from Dan. Things worked out and here I am.
Favorite Pink Floyd song and why? Time - The introduction proves that a simple chord pattern, done well, can hold a listener’s attention.
Favorite Pink Floyd album and why? Dark Side of the Moon - It’s ground breaking in so many ways. I love albums that have a common thread that holds it all together.
What equipment do you use? B & S Saxophones, Takamine Acoustic Guitars, and Fender Electric Guitars.
Brief musical history: I’ve been playing for 30 years, studied sax at The Ohio State University. Played in many situations including a brief stint with Geffen recording artists, The Toll, The Garcia Saxophone Quartet and am also currently playing with former Michael Stanley Band lead guitarist, Gary Markasky who fronts the Gary Markasky Project.
Name of first band you were in: Grand Rapid with Dan.
Best gig and why? The Garcia Saxophone Quartet played a church service in a very old cathedral in Boston, Massachusetts. The sound was simply amazing.
